Photography is no cakewalk; there’s a lot that has to be done behind the camera to ensure it results in a perfect outcome- a magical picture you can’t take your eyes off. Even if you’re keen on learning the ropes of digital photography, you have to push yourself, be experimental, and get comfortable with critical concepts such as exposure, aperture, composition, shutter speed, etc., to grow your skill.
Things get slightly trickier when it comes to equine photography, though. Here, the onus of capturing precious moments that underscore the special bond between you and your horse falls on the photographer. However, the hassle is double because the photographer has to know how to communicate with the animal alongside getting the picture-perfect shot, which is an art not many have mastered; this is where their craft and skillset come into play.
Let’s dive into some of the reasons as to why I believe you should hire a horse photographer:
They Understand The Love You Have For Your Horse
Horse photographers are attuned to your and your horse’s emotions; affected by their innocence, understanding, desire to please, trust, and love, they understand how valuable your nag is to you. My horse is easily my best friend, and surely, it’s the same in your case.
Have faith in equine photographers as they have enough knowledge and understanding of these creatures to click photographs that will leave you completely and pleasantly surprised- whether your horse is a little naughty or a perfect gentleman. I can pinky swear that!
They Understand That one-of-a-kind Bond with Your Horse
Equine photographers pursue their career in this field mainly because they began as equestrians and fell in love with horses before falling in love with the art of photography. I’ll give my example to elaborate on this point.
Oddly enough I did not grow up riding horses or competing in horse shows, but have always been in awe of their magnificence. I have been obsessed and in love with them since a very tender age. I have a strong understanding of the heartfelt connection and intimate association a rider shares with their horse. It’s why I’m able to capture that special equation in my photography and provide my clients with photographs that truly capture their unique bond, allowing them to treasure those memories for a lifetime.
Horse Photographers Understand The
Nature Of Horses
Essentially, that’s all there is to it. Horses are unpredictable, huge, and if not loved in a tame environment, then potentially dangerous animals as well. Opting for a well-versed photographer with their behavior and knows what to expect when working around them will make the entire process a smooth sailing one. Most equine photographers understand how horses react in general, and on some level, that guarantees a pleasurable and safe experience for everyone involved in the photoshoot.
