This week I will be dropping off Sand Storm to be on display during the public budget meeting for the Town of Prescott Valley, Arizona. This is a meet and greet sort of event at the Civic Center. Complete with free chili and hot dogs-woo hoo. It’s certainly cold enough for a warm bowl of yummy chili, it will bring a lot of people out for free food. 🙂
I am submitting Sand Storm from the Windswept Manes Collection for my public art. This piece of horse photography will be on gallery wrapped canvas ready to hang in 32 x 48″. It’s also available for sale there and for public voting. Lets hope I win peoples choice!! Stay tuned for the results.
Sand Storm is a photograph I took July 2015 in Florence Oregon on the beach. Xandar is the black Friesian Stallion shown. His incredible long flowing mane was all tangled from the strong winds blowing that day. It was a cold summer on the beach in Florence and a really fun photo shoot.
This will be my second art showing for the Town of Prescott Valley, Arizona. In 2015 I was a featured artist at the Prescott Valley Town Library. Prescott Valley has a very active Arts and Cultural Commission to bring awareness to it’s residents.
