My Morgan Horses Photo shoot went so well a few weeks ago. I’ve been pretty busy this summer with lots of different photoshoots, but I have not had any Morgan Horses to add to my portfolio. It was fun to finally add some!
The Horse owner, Lori Rosborough has four beautiful Morgans and was open to bringing all of them to the session. We started with Glory, her 26 year old mare. Turns out Glory put on quite the show and pranced around the arena snorting with her tail up in the air. She was behaving like so many Arabian Horses I had photographed in the past. Glory galloped so fast her mane was flowing and creating a beautiful illuminated back light outline.
Next up was her very tall Palomino colored Morgan named Obi and her Black/Bay Colored Horse named Patrick. Obi is 13 and Patrick is 28 and they stuck together pretty closely in the turnout. Most of the time Patrick was in the background. I was lucky to stick with them as they galloped so fiercely across the area, and capture this image below when Patrick came out from the back. I love the image below when their flowing manes were synchronized.
Glacier is a super friendly 2 year old colt. He was concerned with being too far away from his barn family, so we didn’t take too long in the arena. However, Glacier had an incredible heart shape on his face.
The other breed Lori has is a Friesian Quarter Horse named Doja. She gracefully trotted around the arena and allowed her beauty to be revealed. Her long mane, tail and forelock flowing. Lori spent a lot of time getting all these horses ready for their photo shoot. I was very pleased with the results too.
