TOP REASONS TO DO A PHOTOSHOOT WITH YOUR HORSE

Even if you’re not too big on expressing overt affection, deep down you know you have immense love for your horse and wouldn’t give him up for the world. He’s not just your best companion, and confidante, but also your escape each time you want to take a break from the day-to-day monotony that’s called Life. I know that’s the case for me!

Irrespective of how close you are to your horse, you can’t deny that he’s the main vessel for your affection and unconditional love.

Isn’t this reason enough for you to finally get on board with the idea of having a proper professional photoshoot with your best friend?

Professional equine photography is something that any horse owner should consider.  If you have never thought about taking professional pictures with your horse before, let us walk you through some reasons as to why you should.

The beautiful memories you make with them are captured in a perfect frame

We are constantly evolving and growing to become the best versions of ourselves, and our horses are no exception. This is one of the many reasons I thorough enjoy being a photographer. Doing horse art photography as a living has given me the opportunity to personally witness my clients grow as equestrians.

I know, you’re probably waiting for the perfect day to arrive to take that “Grand Picture” with your old nag. But truth be told, the longer you wait, the more time you’re wasting to capture sweet moments with your horse. You’ve probably heard the saying: “Tomorrow never comes.”

Don’t take where you currently are in your journey for granted- no one can guarantee what the future holds so document where you are right now with your pal at your earliest convenience.

It’s about time you get a real photo

With the advent of technological advancement and growing social media prowess, there’s really no one to blame for the “selfie” culture.

But remember, pictures taken from a cell phone are unlikely to stay with you forever.

Moreover, they lack the ability to portray a horse in the correct proportion (proportion distortion is a genuine problem) and fail to capture microscopic details. The fact that you’re the one taking these pictures also doesn’t help because you’ll rarely ever find yourself in them.  And even if you are, the images were most likely taken by a friend, and well, unless your friend is a pro, it’s not going to be the most flattering shot.

Honestly, a point-and-shoot picture taken from a mobile phone cannot be compared to even an entry level DSLR camera, professional gear, technical understanding, and artistic eye.

Beautifully captured pictures make brilliant home décor

I cannot emphasize enough on the importance of embellishing your home with meaningful art pieces. Of course, having gorgeous Renaissance art or vibrant buildings of Morocco hung up on your walls has its own charm… but how relevant are they to you on a personal level? What if you alongside them, you put up a truly meaningful artwork that depicts your relationship with your horse?

Nothing beats adorning your home with photographs or portraits that carry a profound meaning within them. Professional high-quality framed and mounted prints can turn any wall into an exquisite gallery and elevate your home décor. There’s something extra special about having one-of-a-kind imagery on your walls instead of something that’s curated to appeal to the masses.
