Tip #1: Don’t Go Overboard With The Horse Décor

When it comes to home décor, many people make the mistake of crossing the line and giving a funny look to the area you want to decorate. Rather than making it look like a typical stable, it’s necessary to give your house a cozy and welcoming look while showing off your beautiful sense of style. Always remember that less is more, and picking up some aesthetic pieces such as your favorite portrait of a horse, spurs, riding corps and stirrups would do the trick just right. I also don’t recommend using an equestrian wallpaper because it just drops the classifies of horse art.

Tip #2: Stick To A Color Palette

Since the equestrian pieces will consist of warm, neutral earthy tones, it’s necessary to stick to a color palette that will compliment these hues. For instance, if you’re going to tie a brown snaffle around your curtains, it’s essential to ensure that the curtains are in cream or lighter shades so that the snaffle can stand out. Similarly, if you’re displaying a dark-colored piece on the wall, it’s a good idea to paint the wall in taupe or give it a rich brown tone.

Tip#3 Explore Your Options

While it’s a great idea to put up a sleek and appealing full portrait of this majestic creature, we suggest exploring your options and going for close up extracts such as a horse eye painting or a black and white shot of a horse that captures its movement right. You can also go for minimal home décor pieces such as equestrian themed cutting boards, wooden side tables, and even throw pillow.

Putting Everything Together’

When it comes to aspiring home décor, you need to ensure that everything is going with the overall theme of your house. The best part about the equestrian theme is that it only adds a classy theme to your home, but making sure that everything is going together is extremely important too. You don’t always have to have a room dedicated to horse art, but you can add minimal pieces to display your eternal love for this beautiful and graceful beast.

I hope these tips were helpful. Happy Decorating!
