There’s a Horse in my bathroom

There’s a horse in my bathroom!

Horse Bathroom Shower Curtain-Equine Photographs by Jody L. MillerWhen I wake up in the morning and go into my bathroom I am greeted every  morning by a horse, okay so it’s on a my shower curtain and is not a real horse but the presence of the horse is still palpable to me!  I love that I chose to do this with my bathroom as it sets the tone for me for the day right away.  I wake up to this big horse feeling in my space and it just gets me going.  My heart feels open and I feel happy and eager for the day.  I think it’s just this great feeling for me to begin my day with.  On the days when I as a professional horse photographer am not feeling all that great (those days are few and far between) then it just grounds me to walk into this space and encounter a horse that feels so connected to the earth.

Horse decor and how to weave it in.

As crazy connected as I feel to horses, I have never been over the top about decorating my house in all of the horse stuff that is out there.  I don’t have horse towels and horse silverware but I do have my horse photographs on my walls though and so I can relate to how it feels to have there presence around me.  I really like the way my horse photographs translate into throw pillows, duvet covers, shower curtains, and even phone covers.  What a great way to bring whatever connection you have to horses into your own life to explore again and again throughout the day.  It’s a great way to weave it in to our lives.

Why a Horse in my bathroom?

Why, indeed, pick something so readily available to showcase a horse photograph?  Doesn’t that sort of change the Horse Bathroom Shower Curtain-Equine Photographs by Jody L.
