Horse photos that get her through her day.Horse Photos Home Decor by Jody Miller

“When I am working at my desk, long hard days have to get easier.  Some people keep music going while they work.  I keep horse photos going across my screen.  Horse photos soothe my mind.  Horse photos calm me down when the stress level gets too high.  Horse photos make a long day shorter.

At the end of the day, I can sit back and look at the wonderful display in front of me.  They come across my screen with quickness if I want or I can languish over one after another of the horse photos by changing the speed.  I’m in control of what and how quickly I see it.

So you may ask what I like about horse photos?  They show me strength and courage.  Horses are such beautiful animals.  Now don’t get me wrong, I like most animals.  In this day of fast everything, instant gratification, and all that seems to connect me to outside world usually is accomplished by the keyboard and quick social connections.  I, however, look for calm and to slow down a too fast-paced world.

That’s where the horse photos I have make a difference.  When the horses are running in their photos, sometimes my heart quickens with what must be the fast pace of their hearts too.  When they are grazing, I can feel their calm and almost hear them whinny to one another.

One of my favorite horse photos is call “Strength” by horse photographer Jody Miller.

That special horse photo came to me at a time when I need strength the most.  That time was a challenge.  “Strength” is what carries me through in the most difficult times.  In that horse photo you can see the power and valor of both horses coming right through the canvas into my heart.  Who does not need that?”
