Cowgirl photos-Girl power and Hillary Clinton

Seems only fitting this week as a woman came close to winning the United States Presidency,  that I talk about my favorite Cowgirl photos.

“…and to all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams.”-Hillary Clinton

I’ve been on many photo shoots in my career and the women always add so much fun to the experience.  Most Cowgirls I have met, have a CAN DO attitude and portray it in their interactions with Cowboys and Horses.

MillerA photoshoot at the Powderhorn Ranch in Douglas Wyoming was almost exclusively centered around Cowgirl photos and even exclusively women photographers.  The True Family reflected many generations of women working the ranch so it was a great opportunity for Cowgirl photos.  “We are a fourth generation ranching family continuing in a traditional ranching lifestyle.”  Girls start working with horses at a very young age on the Powderhorn Ranch.  Chores and hard work are welcomed in their day and they all seemed so happy.  It was also fun to be shooting with just women- bonding and sharing stories.

It was my first time in Wyoming- I enjoyed the long drive from the Denver airport and felt myself relax more and cowgirl photos-Horse photographer Jody L. Another fun spot for Cowgirl photos was at Rock Springs guest ranch in Bend Oregon.  This photoshoot was mostly horses running through heavy sand and emerging from the dust storms they created, but I did get some fun Cowgirl photos as the women took time to pose by the small pond.

If you’re looking for stock photography of Cowgirl photos, please check with me!  I’ve got cowgirls roping, riding, playing with their horses or just showing off their Girl Power!
